With more people moving to mobile devices for their day-to-day business, Consega’s offering enables provisioning of our geographic numbering services on our own fully-branded service, allowing for customers and partners to use the following integrated services on regular Consega geographic numbers for users:

What mobile network does Consega use?
Consega has adopted the initial services of thevoicefactory to become one of only 40 MVNO supploiers in the UK, which means we provide mobile phone services but do not actually have our own network infrastructure. Instead, we partner with a licensed mobile phone operator to provide the service. In our case, we use the mobile operator 3’s network.

Do Consega offer micro SIM cards?
No, and therefore this product is not compatible with iPhone 4 and iPads. Some customers may find that they are able to bypass these size restrictions; however, such methods are not supported by Consega currently.

What type of phones work with CSmobile?
Our SIM cards work in 3G phones only. Please note that there is no fallback to GSM / 2G services. Therefore, the service will only work in areas with 3G reception.

Can you provide Data services on my mobiles?
Yes, Consega has the ability to provide a full open access environment to the Internet for your customers. We will bill for this on a usage basis.

What services are currently unavailable?
There is no option to port in a mobile number at this moment in time. The ability to have multiple numbers existing on one SIM can be delivered from the Consega platform. Roaming is also disabled at present.

Does it cost for a Consega to Consega mobile call?
Yes, however, we only charge a flat fee per minute call irrespective of the time of day. This is due to each call always incurring a mobile network transport cost.

Can my customers just use mobile phones?
Absolutely yes. The service can be used in a mobile only environment with low tariff calling and integration into a receptionist. Ideally suited to a mobile business.

Can I see my mobile and fixed calls?
Our billing allows you to see all the call information and if required offer full billing services for wholesale partners too.

On Net Calls

This shows an On Net call between handsets, where the mobile originate and mobile terminate SIM’s both exist on the same reseller account.

• The transit charge of 3p per minute will only apply to one leg of the call (the initial transit between Three and Consega).

• Due to the nature of these calls, a CDR will be produced for each leg of the call (MO & MT).

• Roaming charge will only be applicable twice where both handsets are roaming.

• Unmediated Partner is the Partner partition on our platform

Off Net Calls

This signifies a call being initiated from the handset and being passed via 3 to Consega and out to the PSTN.

• The charge will be at the published rate

• Mobile roaming charges will be added to the outgoing PSTN chargeable rate.

Shows delivery to the handset from an Off Net call.

• The transit charge of 2p per minute will apply to the leg of the call between tvf and the mobile.

• Roaming charges will apply where the receiving handset is located abroad.

Normal calling Rates apply in addition to the mobile charge.
